These days MP3 players are more popular than ever. People of all ages use them to put their music on. They are small and portable so you can listen to music everywhere you go. For those that love classical music, you can download Mozart from your computer right to your MP3 player. This is good news for those that enjoy this type of music. It can be very relaxing and help someone stay focused on their work. It can also reduce levels of stress for those that have a very difficult job to perform.

In his lifetime Mozart completed a total of twenty seven concertos. You can choose to put all of them onto your MP3 player if you want to. Many of the sites that offer them to download have them into sections though. This way you can download the pieces that you really enjoy if you don?t want the entire thing.

For those that are also learning to play Mozart music, downloading the material to your MP3 player can help too. Your brain will grow accustomed to listening to the pattern of music. As you play it on your own you will be able to quickly pick up on any mistakes you may have made. It can help you correct your mistakes early on because if you continue to play it wrong you will have to break that habit in order to do it correctly.

Many parents are under the impression that listening to Mozart will make their child smarter. As a result, they put the concertos onto MP3 players that they let their children listen to. Many children love the idea of having an MP3 and they will listen to what has been placed on it over and over again.

The cost of downloading the various Mozart materials depends on what site you are on. With the right set up you can easily transfer the materials from CD?s you own onto your MP3 player. The music of Mozart is legendary as a vital part of the world of music. He was a very creative musician and his music from the past lives on. Technology has given us the MP3 but the music of Mozart simply can?t be beat.

Apple is easily the most well known name in MP3 players or personal music players. The iPod has taken the music world by storm and each time a new one is released it seems to break all previous barriers. Initially, they were slightly larger than their counterparts but they were hard drive based and so held thousands and thousands of songs but with the introduction of the iPod Nano this soon became a thing of the past. The iPod Nano uses Flash based memory and so it is infinitely smaller. In fact, it is as thin as a pencil.

The iPod is popular for a reason though. As well as being durable and very advanced it features access to iTunes. ITunes is the Internet?s largest music store and allows iPod users to download tracks to their computer or to their MP3 player. ITunes has also become huge in terms of popularity.

The 2GB Nano allows the storage of up to around 500 songs, the 4GB Nano 1,000 songs. They are both available in either black or white and despite their miniature size they are hardy and resistant to general wear and tear. With predictions that the next iPod to be released will be the video iPod, Apple once again look certain to take the portable media device to yet another level.

Buying an iPod now also requires buying into an iPod. Those who own them love them, but there are some that are skeptical due to its price being quite high compared to other MP3 players and the fact that they feel they are paying for the Apple brand. However, the iPod is an excellent personal audio player and you will have to go a long way to find one that is as good and offers a service similar to iTunes.

iPod users start to get the picture and it?s turning out to be colorful fun!!

The latest generation of hi tech gadget users are watching the different media they use start to converge as Apple launches its latest grab for the market with iPod Photo. Not only can you listen to all your music on the go, or organize your business and social life, but now your entire photo collection can be viewed at hand too. With the latest color screens iPod users can turn the favorite toy into a slideshow which is set to music. Watch this with friends hanging out at the beach or connect it to your TV and away you go.

Imagine putting your holiday photos to your own sound track and being able to view it wherever you want, well this is now possible to do, and with the 60GB version you can hold up to 25,000 photos. Of course, if you want to mix these up with music the storage would be shared but still with the longer lasting battery in the new generation of iPod you can get up to 5 hours of slideshow or 15 hours of music according to Apple.

All this is possible to use with your Apple Mac or PC using Autosync to make the synchronization of your music and pictures automatic. Visitors to http://www.auctions-andmore.com/articles2/3 are informed of many of the features of the latest iPods and the best deals around for purchasing these items. From their website you can access hundreds of online deals for the whole range of iPod products.

The latest iPods are set to rock the market once again with their latest visual addition. The only question is?.where will all this convergence end up? Soon these multi function devices may move into the area of telecommunications with the prospect of watching digital TV or videos. Perhaps our mobile phone will become our MP3, video and still camera with 5 mega-pixel definition. Who knows? But for the time being Apple have once again moved ahead in the hard-drive, hand-held multi-media gadget race.

iPod is produced by Apple which can be found at: www.apple.com.

?Cut Costs when Marrying – Elope!

For those who are planning a wedding, you know how much stress can be involved in planning. From choosing the perfect dress right down to selecting the best favors, every detail must be just right. You are probably also noticing that all of these details can add up to quite a hefty bill. Luckily, you do have a much cheaper option available to you – you could elope!

Wedding Expenses

Having a traditional wedding is expensive. Even if you cut corners or provide the catering, decorations, and flowers on your own, the shear volume of things to buy adds up in a hurry. Think about it. For the typical wedding, you need to buy a dress and all of the accessories, such as shoes, jewelry, and probably a special bra. Of course, you need to also purchase rings and rent a tuxedo.

After getting yourselves dressed, you will also need to rent out a place to get married and rent out a reception hall. You will need to pay someone to perform your wedding and a to take pictures of the big even. Of course, there is also the cake, the food, the musical entertainment, the decorations, and the flowers. The list goes on and on. It is little wonder couples easily spend over %10,000 on this one day. So, the question begs to be answered – is it really worth spending that much on a wedding, or should you save some money by eloping?

Elopement Expenses

Before making the decision to elope, you need to decide if you will regret it later. Some people have dreamed of their wedding day for years. Therefore, the cost of fulfilling this dream is well worth it, since it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. On the other hand, if it will not upset you to have a non-traditional wedding, then eloping is certainly a money-saving venture.

Probably the most popular spot for elopement is Las Vegas. Here, you can get your marriage license, find a chapel, and get hitched on the same day. In addition, you can do it all for as little as %100. Of course, if you want to purchase a dress and rings, that will bring the cost up a bit. But, many of these chapels offer dress rental, making it possible to forego that expense. In addition, there are a number of chapels ready to go that come complete with decorations and other traditional wedding elements that cost a fraction of what it costs to throw a wedding on your own.

What to Spend the Savings On

The great thing about eloping is that it frees up so much money to other things you love. Even flying to a great destination to elope is far cheaper than paying for a traditional wedding at home. Would you rather spend %500 for a DJ for your reception or would you rather spend that on a luxury hotel room for the week? Would you rather spend %1,000 to rent a reception hall or use the money to purchase tickets to a tropical island, a mountain retreat, or a desert playland? Would you prefer spending %2,000 on decorations or would you rather start payments on that new car you have had your eye on? How about spending %5,000 on catered food or would that money be better spent on a down payment on a house? Or, maybe that %15,000 you would have spent on your wedding would do more for your future if it were spent on college instead of on one day.

With so many other options for spending your money, it is little wonder so many couples are choosing to elope. For most couples, gone are the days when the bride’s parents paid for the entire wedding. This is largely due to the fact that many are choosing to get married at an older age after they have become entirely self-sufficient. At this point, most couples would rather see the money go toward objects they can enjoy for years to come, on investments that will pay off in the long run, or on education that will further their status in life. And why not? A wedding is really about just the two of you, so make it special, romantic, and fun by eloping, and save yourself a bund

Italy has many well-known travel destinations such as Rome. Less publicized destinations such as Siena are even better.

Sienna

Located roughly an hour outside of Florence, Siena is one of my favorite places in Italy. When you think gothic architecture and medieval town, you think of Siena. Built as a fortified city behind large, thick walls on a small mountain, Siena oozes history. Cars are barred from much of the city, so you can meander down ancient brick alleyways below towering wall-to-wall residences.

In Siena, you’ll find a relaxed way of life, two music schools and just a general feel of what Italy must have been like in the past. Head to the Piazza del Campo in the heart of the city and grab a seat in a caf?. As you gaze across the city, you can view the Duomo Cathedral that towers over the city. Unlike other cities, the cathedral does not contrast with the buildings around it. All of Siena retains the gothic medieval architectural style and you’ll be hard pressed to find a better gothic example in Europe.

The best way to experience Siena is to simply stay there. Like wine, Siena improves the longer you stay. Daily explorations lead to surprising little shops, incredibly friendly people and a general feeling of peace.

Il Palio

If you prefer a little action on your trip, Siena has an event that rivals any in Europe. The Il Palio bareback horse race around the Piazza del Campo is a sight to be seen. The fun starts well before the race when various neighborhoods challenge each other. The challenge comes in the form of bands walking through “enemy” neighborhoods in the middle of the night and making an unholy racket. Eventually, each neighborhood produces a horse and rider for the day of the race. Bareback, the riders race for neighborhood pride among an absolutely screaming crowd of people. The running of the bulls has nothing on this event.

If you visit Florence while in Italy, take the time to spend a couple days in Siena. In fact, blow past Florence and go immediately to Siena.

Popular Summer Vacation Destinations for Seniors
Senior travel is growing in popularity. Instead of relaxing at home, a large number of senior citizens are making the decision to get out and travel. If you are a senior citizen and you are interested in taking a summer vacation, you may be wondering which summer vacation destination is best.

All around the world, there are millions of vacation destinations. With a large selection of destinations, attractions, and activities, you may be wondering how you could ever narrow your choice down to just one place. The first step in deciding on a destination is by determining which activities you would like to participate in while on vacation.

Senior citizens enjoy a wide variety of different activities. If you enjoy golfing, a golf resort may be an ideal location for your next vacation. If relaxing by the beach is more your style, you have a large number of beaches to choose from. In addition to on land vacations, you may enjoy taking a summer vacation cruise. Deciding what you would like to do while on vacation is the best way to find the perfect summer vacation destination.

While the activities that you?d like to participate in on your vacation are important, so are the activities that you?d like to avoid. Unfortunately, a large number of popular summer vacation destinations are targeted towards the younger crowd. If excess loud music, late night partying, and excess drinking is not on your ?to do list,? then you may want to consider avoiding destinations that promote these activities.

Due to their price, domestic vacations are often the most sought after for seniors. If you are able to afford the cost of overseas travel, you may want to consider an overseas vacation. These vacations are ideal for seniors who want to see the world, but have never had the opportunity to before. The preparation and travel required to have an overseas vacation is often long and large. You may want to examine your health and ability to withstand a long journey before booking an overseas vacation.

If an overseas vacation is possible and sounds ideal, you have an unlimited number of destinations to choose from. Popular destinations include France, Italy, and Spain. Many of these destinations are famous for their rich history. While vacationing overseas, you can visit a number of well-known tourist attractions. You can explore many of these attractions by yourself or with a tour guide.

If domestic vacations are more your style, you can often find fun, but relaxing vacations at, the above mentioned, beach and golf resorts. Myrtle Beach, located in South Carolina, is a well-known beach that caters to visitors of all ages. In addition to sunbathing and swimming, you may find a number of activities designed for individuals of your age.

Most of the golf resorts found in the United States cater to mature crowds. While children may be allowed to stay, there are a limited number of golf resorts that have onsite activities for children. The lack of onsite activities for children often provides a fun, safe, and relaxing environment for seniors. In addition to golfing, golf resorts are often equipment with private cottage rentals, fine dining restaurants, and onsite spas.

Once you have found the vacation destination of your choice, you may want to book your reservations right away. Before making a reservation, you are encouraged to search for travel discounts. If you are a member of Triple A or AARP, you may be able to receive valuable discounts on your next summer vacation.

With a large number of vacation destinations designed with seniors in mind, you are sure to find the perfect location for your next vacation. Whether you choose to spend your vacation at the beach, travel overseas, or stay at a well-known golf resort, you are sure to make an unlimited number of memories.

Music education classes can enrich a child?s life in many ways. Children who learn a musical instrument, sing, or who want to compose music, usually perform better on test scores at school, are more comfortable with who they are, and can learn how to be better analytical thinkers and problem solvers. Unfortunately, many schools have abandoned music education programs due to lack of funds. Children who do not receive the option of learning about music may suffer in many ways.

But for those who have music education classes in school, learning an instrument and playing in a band can be lots of fun. Children as young as eight or nine can be taught how to play a variety of instruments. Bands will have concerts where the children will be able to play for their parents and others in the school. It is an exciting time. Children who get to participate in the choir will also benefit from music. They will have a sense of pride for what they have accomplished and will also be able to feel like part of a group.

Learning how music is created will help children improve their math skills. Learning about the value of notes, time signatures, and exits and entrances will also help them learn how to be a member of a team. Music education can build friendships, allow children to explore many different types of music, and learn how to play different instruments. While children may find other activities to participate in during school, they will be happy to be a part of a band or choir.

Those who teach music education usually play in bands or play solo during their free time. Teaching others the beauty of music is very important to them. It takes an immense amount of patience to teach another person a musical instrument. But with patience and the hard work of the student, teachers can bring out the best in many children.

If there is no music education program offered at school, children can take private lessons. This can also be beneficial, but in a different way. Instead of being part of a band, music students will have learn to rely on themselves when playing their instruments. Many children will take piano lessons and guitar lessons because these are instruments that can be played alone or with a group. These children will still learn other important skills that they can take with them as they enter adulthood. Finding a band or local group to play with is a good idea for those who want to perform in front of others.

MySpace is a wonderful community where young people can meet new friends and interact with others their own age. Most members of MySpace want to have as colorful and as interesting a page as possible at MySpace and music is another way to make your page even more attractive to others. This is becoming more and more popular to do at MySpace. Often bands wanting others to sample their brand of music add it to their web page and many members just for fun add music so others who visit know what type of music the individual enjoys listening to. Let’s look at some easy ways to add music to your MySpace page.

It is relatively easy to add music to your web page at MySpace. If you are a member of MySpace and like a piece of music featured at another site, you can see if that particular artist gives permission for other members to use the music. Go to online to see what music is available to listen to on MySpace pages. If a given artist is willing to give permission then there will be a button that is labeled “Add” next to the specific song you are interested in. You need to log into your MySpace account and then click on the given link and then the piece of music will automatically be added to the background of your MySpace web page. It is only possible to add one song at a time to your web page, however, it is possible to change the music you have as often as you care to. If there is already one piece of music at your webpage and you decided to add another, the second song will by default replace the first song.

In order to make a piece of music play on your MySpace web page, first you will need to log in to your profile page and then seek out the link for “Music” that can be found at the top of the screen of the page. The music link can be found nestled between the classifieds and the videos. Next clink on the link for “Music” and this will take you to the “MySpace Music” area. The music spot at MySpace makes it possible to look around the site for bands that you enjoy listening to or you can search for new talents that you have yet to discover. There is also a “search” feature at MySpace that allows you to search by specific band members and band names as well as influences according to music and even a “sounds like” category. There are even ways to narrow down your musical search at MySpace to a particular genre or music such as rock, country or alternative or to look for certain bands that hail from a particular area of the world.

Once you have located a band that interests you, click the page they can be found on and what will then show up is a list of their songs, which you can choose to listen to for your own enjoyment. As well you can follow along with the lyrics of each song and even rate them if you so choose to. If you want to add a song of your choice to your MySpace profile then click on the “add” button. You will be prompted by MySpace if this is indeed the song you want and from there you click on “Add Song to Profile” and it is done. Once this is completed you can then log in to your MySpace profile and the background music will be the song you chose. It is as simple as that!

Steve Gillman

Stress is more than just unpleasant. It’s dangerous. Try
these relaxation techniques today, and use them whenever you
feel that tension coming on.

1. Leave the room. This really helps if the things
stressing you out are in the room or related to it. Just get
out for a little while.

2. Take five deep breaths through your nose. Close your
eyes and pay attention only to your breathing while doing
this. This is like a mini-meditation.

3. Take a hot shower. The hot water relaxes your muscles,
and the break from more stressful activities helps too.

4. Drink chamomile tea. It seems to have a calming effect
on the nerves.

5. Stop and watch your mind. Often if you can spot the
stressors lurking just below the surface (hunger, worry, a
phone call you need to make), you can resolve them and feel
more relaxed.

6. Laugh. You know from experience that this helps you
relax, right? Find the guy that knows all the best jokes, or
just find something funny in front of you.

7. Listen to relaxing music. Keep your favorite relaxation
CD at the office, or wherever you’ll need it most.

8. Take a walk. This is one of the best relaxation
techniques if you have at least ten minutes to spare. Find a
pretty place to walk while you’re at it.

9. Get a hug. As long as it’s from somebody you don’t mind
hugging you, this really can be relaxing.

10. Break your routine. Talk to that guy sleeping on the
bench, or eat lunch on the roof. Anything that breaks you
out of your habitual patterns can relieve stress.

Why Easy Relaxation Techniques?

You can change yourself over time, so you’re naturally more
relaxed. But if the thought of the work involved just
stresses you more, you might have to take it slow. In the
meantime, the relaxation techniques above really aren’t
difficult, so why not try one or two today?

Tossing and turning all night? The clock is ticking over; minute after minute, hour after hour, but you just can’t sleep. The only thing worse, is the feeling of being totally zonked the next day. Insomnia is a problem that affects most people at some time during their lives. It has many different causes and many different ways of being expressed. For some, it may be a case of a few restless nights or a lifetime of poor sleep. Sleep is an important part of our lives allowing us to regain strength, heal and grow. So when it is disturbed for any reason it can seriously affect our lives.

There is a large variation in the amount of sleep needed. Some only need a few hours sleep, while others may need up to 10 hours to feel refreshed. Insomnia is the condition where a person feels as if they are not getting adequate sleep on a regular basis. Their sleep is non-refreshing and their ability to function normally on a daily basis is affected.

Sleep patterns are different with different people, as too is the patterns for insomniacs. Some may fall asleep easily, but wake during the night and not be able to return to sleep. Others may lay awake for hours before being able to drift off to sleep. Some people wake hundreds of times during the night, without realising it. It has been found through electrical monitoring of insomniacs, while they sleep, that they don not change sleep stages very often. Normal sleep requires many stages and insomniacs may not reach the deep sleep known as ‘REM’.

If you are suffering from sleep problems, it could be related to many different causes. A whole lifestyle check needs to be done. Are you eating right? Heavy meals in the evening can certainly affect sleep. Are you getting enough exercise and fresh air? One of the biggest issues with sleep problems is stress. What is happening in your life that is playing on your mind?

Have a look through the following suggestions; there may be something that will help you. Most importantly, try not to be worried about not sleeping. Go to bed with the thoughts of a good nights rest, relax and sleep well

Suggestion to help you improve your sleep

* Try to get some regular exercise and fresh air.

* Allow time to relax before going to bed.

* Take up some form of meditation; if you find this difficult a class may help. Deep breathing techniques can also be helpful.

* Try reading before bedtime. Stick to something light and easy, maybe even boring, don?t read anything too exciting. Watching a stimulating television program should also be avoided. * Develop a regular bedtime relaxation routine. Try keeping your bedtime and getting up time regular.

* Relaxing in a warm bath or even a warm shower can be helpful.

* Make sure your bed and pillow are comfortable for you, not too hard or soft.

* If light or noise is a problem, use earplugs or eye-mask.

* Make sure you are warm enough, but not too hot and that the room is well ventilated.

* Try a warm drink before bed, such as a warm milk or chamomile tea.

* Keep a pen and paper beside your bed. If you have a lot of things on your mind, write them all down, if they are preventing you from sleeping. Similarly if you wake up and start to think about something, write it down and then you can forget it, until a more suitable time.

* Listen to relaxation music while preparing yourself for sleep.

* Put the clock out of sight, it doesn?t help to have a constant reminder of how long you?ve been awake.

* When you go to bed try some relaxation techniques. Relax your muscles individually and imagine yourself in a peaceful setting.

* Don?t take any stimulants in the evening. These include tea, coffee, cola and chocolate drinks, smoking and alcohol.

* It is best not to eat too close to going to bed and allow at least three ours to digest your evening meal before going to bed.

* If you are having difficulty sleeping, get up and do something relaxing for 20 minutes or until you feel tired again, rather than lie there worrying

*Before bed, let go of all your worries. Write them down of a piece of paper and hand them over to God or the universe to take care of for the night. Place the paper into a bible or under a crystal, whatever works for you. I’ve heard of a story of a worry tree, where you place all your worries on a tree and allow them to be taken care of. This could be the focus of your meditation. Knowing that you can rest easy, while the tree takes care of your concerns.

* An herbal sleep satchel under the pillow will release the pleasant scent of sleepfulness. Herbs such as Lavender, Lemon Balm, Chamomile and Cinnamon can be used. (I have read that a cut raw onion placed under the pillow can help you sleep, I think I’ll stick to the herbs, personally I have cinnamon.)

* Colour is something that can help. Surrounding yourself with relaxing colours of blues and greens.

* Honey is said to help induce sleep. Add to an herbal tea or a hot lemon drink.

From my daughter’s witch files.

* Black satchels stuffed with marigold and a citrine crystal induces prophetic dreams and repels nightmares.

* Pillows stuffed with hops or anise seeds aids restful sleep with no nightmares.

* Clear quartz under the pillow can help.

* A sleeping spell: Hold crystal quartz in your hands saying this three times.

“I ask thou spirits of the West to help me seek the land of rest.
Let me slumber all through the night, only to wake whence it is light.”
