Adopting a child from China is one of the most popular options for the childless couple nowadays. After all, there are so many children born in China that are unwanted. This has a lot to do with the government’s policies. You see, China has a huge population and it is getting bigger every day. To stop it from growing further, the government has instituted some harsh policies. Each couple is allowed to have only one child. Any additional children, and the parents are severely penalized. When you adopt a child from China, you allow him or her to grow up in an environment where he or she won’t be persecuted for being a second or third child. This is why adoption from China is such a good idea.

Of course, adoption from China is not an inexpensive matter. You would think that, in a country where they do not want so many children, they would make it easy for foreigners to go through the adoption process. In fact, this is not the case. If anything, adoption from China is harder than in most places. It can cost literally tens of thousands of dollars to adopt from China. You have to make several visits, pay for extensive background checks, meet various officials, talk to various adoption agencies ? there is a whole run around to it. They don’t do anything to make it easy for you. They don’t have to. There is such a demand for adoption from China.

ultimately, however, adoption from China is worth it. I speak from experience. Me and my wife adopted a child from China about ten years ago. Since then, we have watched her grow up from a sickly baby to a healthy young woman. Although there was a lot of hassle to it, and at times we did not think we would succeed in adopting from China, in the end we were lucky. Our adoption from China allowed us to raise the most precious, beautiful little girl that we have ever seen. We are so happy to be a family.

If you have decided not to have children, or are unable to have kids, you should definitely consider adoption from China. Many people worry that they will not be able to love a child that is not theres, but once you meet this little creature who depends on you, your opinions will change. It is not hard to love a child who is part of your family.

How Computers are Changing the Accounting World

Ways Computers are Affecting Accounting?
If you are not an accounting professional, you might not have even noticed the many ways in which computers have taken over the accounting world.

Computers have allowed accounting standardization on a global scale, something that would never have been possible without them. Withdrawing money from an ATM in Bangkok, Thailand deducts funds from your account in Bangor, Maine, in the blink of an eye.

Computer programs can eliminate costly accounting errors by performing math functions automatically, verifying the way that information is entered and highlighting mistakes as you go. Accountants from bookkeepers to certified accounting professionals can save hours of time and effort using a simple program like Microsoft Excel.

Accounting-specific programs, such as Quickbooks or TurboTax, simplify the entire accounting process by organizing data and dispensing advice about everything from filing taxes to planning a business. Sorting, manipulating, and analyzing a huge amount of data becomes simple.

Even the IRS has jumped on the computerized accounting train, allowing Americans to start filing taxes online with their efile system.

Filing taxes online simplifies the process for the IRS and the taxpayers alike. Using efile, taxes are filed quickly and processed and analyzed easily.

The Threat of Computerized Accounting
Despite all of these advantages, computerized accounting is not a wholly positive innovation for the accounting industry. Because computers can do so many of the jobs that were formerly reserved for certified accounting professionals, many jobs have been eliminated.

Companies are under increasing pressure to cut back and save money, and turning to software programs enables them to hire fewer accountants. Accounting software helps nearly anyone with managing their own finances and filing their own taxes.

This is bad news for the bookkeepers and clerks who are trying to get started in the industry. The U.S Department of Labor has announced that they expect entry level accounting jobs to increase on a slower-than-average level throughout 2014, due to the adoption of computerized accounting practices.

How Accountants Can Use Computers to Their Advantage
While computers are eliminating some accounting jobs, they are also opening the doors to new and untapped cottage industries. Some accountants have started their own businesses as consultants for popular personal software packages.

By applying your knowledge of Quicken or MS Money to help people run their companies more efficiently, you can have a successful business that provides a much-needed service.

Expert accountants are also needed to advise large companies on which enterprise accounting systems are right for their businesses. Technology auditors help to combine business and accounting functions in the most practical ways.

The growth of e-commerce businesses has opened up new markets for consultants as well. Because of the ease of starting an online business, more people are becoming entrepreneurs, creating more work for certified public accountants.

Combining accounting experience and computer programming skills opens a new set of possibilities. Understanding the accounting needs helps a programmer set up databases and create proprietary software that does exactly what the user requires.

Everyone wants to announce the arrival of their new baby in a memorable and distinctive way. The latest trend is to send baby photo announcements, which include one or several photos of the baby. There are several different types of these baby photo announcements, each of them unique in their own way.

One of the first types used, and is still very commonly used, is to simply include a printed 3×5 photo with a store bought card, hospital provided card or handmade card including the baby?s birth information. People generally like these because they can keep the photo itself without having to necessarily keep the announcement. Because of the desire to keep a photo, the announcement and photo combination have evolved into companies offering baby photo announcements that include the baby?s photo and birth information imprinted on the card itself, making the card more custom and personal.

Companies have gotten more creative and are now even offering an option of including several different photos and the birth information arranged and printed on one 3×5 or 4×6 photo. Creativity has no limits with these announcements, as families are now opting to include photos of the entire family, the new baby with older siblings, as well as photos of the baby?s tiny hands and feet. The family?s personal style can come through with these types of baby photo announcements, as there are now several companies offering hundreds of different layouts and color schemes to choose from. Aside from being beautiful, this type of baby photo announcement is very practical, as it meets the desire of wanting to keep a photo but not necessarily a card.

Not only are these baby photo announcements being used to announce the birth of a baby, but are also more recently being used for adoption announcements. The idea still remains the same, but instead of birth information, the announcement includes the child?s name, the parents? names, and when the child joined the family. The photo compilation option is very popular for this type of announcement, as they cater more to the family looking for something a little more untraditional.

Whatever style is chosen, baby photo announcements are definitely becoming more and more common and do not seem to be going away. Announcing the birth of a child or the welcoming of a child through adoption has never been more personal than now with the many baby photo announcement options available to new parents.

MyOwnArticles.com

What is Adoption?

Considering adoption is one of the most important decisions you can ever make in your whole life. It?s not an easy decision to make though as it involves a lot of things to be considered, emotionally, physically, and legally. This is basically the reason that most are hesitant to deciding on adoption, but in case you are thinking of it but not sure yet of what this process entails, then I bet it?s important for you to know first what adoption is.

Adoption, as commonly defined, is a legal process that builds a new and permanent relationship between parent and child. It is the process in which couples who have no children are matched with children who have no parents. So it?s simply a ?matching? process.

However, there is something much deeper in adoption than it?s being a matching process. It is a legal process in which the parental rights and responsibilities are highly considered and bestowed to the adopting parents, so to hit the main aim of adoption ? a parent-child relationship. So it is clear then that adoption has something to do not only with bestowing the rights and responsibilities to the adopting parents but also giving the child or children being adopted all the emotional, legal and social rights and responsibilities that every family member is entitled to enjoy. All the rights and responsibilities given to the adopted child are the same as with the biological child, and this may mean including the rights of inheritance.

Before adoption is decided, court proceedings take place. Well, this is basically how the adoption is decided and made. In court hearings, it is expected from the court to identify the biological parents of the child to be adopted. This must be determined lawfully and with full understanding, so to avoid conflicts. However, deciding on this depends greatly on the established state law and the circumstances. Usually, the cutting of the rights of the biological parents and bestowing those rights to the adoptive parents may be done at the same time at the finalization of the adoption.

Speaking of finalization, what usually happens in the court during the proceeding is that the judge reviews all the gathered information about the child, his or her biological parents, and the adoptive parents. The homestudy and other conducted evaluation of the adopting parents and their capability to take custody of the child are reviewed. Also included in the review are the reports of pre-adoption counseling, case worker?s recommendations and notes, and some other necessary, valuable reports.

During the finalization hearing, the adoptive parents and their attorneys are required to be present. This requirement also covers the placing parents and their attorneys, the children, the legal case worker or advocate of the child, and case workers of both the adoptive parents and the placing parents. With the presence of these personalities and the information gathered, the decision to approve or disapprove the petition for adoption will be made. And, once the adoption is finalized, the Adoption Decree is issued.

Infant Adoption

Most people who want to adopt look into infant adoption first. I can understand this because many people feel if they adopt an older child they will miss out the bonding that most people associate with infanthood. I can tell you from experience that if you adopt an older child you will love them the same no matter what age they were when they came to you. I can understand wanting an infant however, because it is almost like starting with a clean slate.

People think of infant adoption as being the closest thing to having your own child. There may be some truth in this, because what you adopt an infant, you are the only influence over their life. When you choose a child that is a little older, some of their behaviors have already been learned from somebody else. This doesn?t mean that infant adoption should be your only choice however, because older children or more adaptable than you may ever realize. Even a child with some behavior problems, can be a dream come true for any parent.

Infant adoption is the most popular though, but it is also the hardest type of adoption out there. Because there are so many people who want to adopt an infant, you will find it harder to adopt an infant than any other child. If you go through an agency, you may be put on a very long waiting list. There are other ways to go about infant adoption but even then, you may find yourself waiting many years before you can find a child.

If you are considering infant adoption, but you don?t want to wait for years to get a child, you may want to consider adopting from another country. There are many children and other countries who are abandoned or unwanted at birth, and they are waiting for someone to adopt them. Though this type of infant adoption has a lot more paperwork to deal with, it is probably the fastest way to adopt. If you open your heart and your mind to a child of a different race or a different nationality, you may begin to build your family a lot sooner than you thought. In the end, it doesn?t matter where your child comes from, or what age they are when they come to you, you will love the more than you ever thought you could love another person.

KEYWORD: Flag of Switzerland
MyOwnArticles.com

Flag of Switzerland

The flag of Switzerland is most recognizable for its striking red square background with a bold, white cross of equal lengths splashed at its center. There are actually only two square sovereign-state flags: the flag of Switzerland and the flag of the Vatican City. That rectangular flag of Switzerland that you sometimes see is only a civil and state ensign used mainly by Swiss ships and boats.

Although the red background of the flag of Switzerland is traditionally square, no such traditional connotations accompanied the white cross. In fact, it wasn?t until 1889 when the dimensions of the cross were formally established: ?The coat of arms of the federation is, within a red field, an upright white cross, whose arms of equal length are a sixth longer than their width.? However, since the time of the Old Swiss Confederacy, the flag of Switzerland bore a white cross, albeit with much details than the plain white cross of today.

So how did the flag of Switzerland develop into what it is now? To answer that, we need to take a look at the history of the Swiss people.

The Forest Cantons

The so-called forest cantons of Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden were the founding members of the Old Swiss Confederacy of 1291. According to history, Emperor Frederick II of the German Empire granted the canton of Schwyz the privilege of carrying a white cross, a holy sign, on its banner in 1240. Documents and records reveal that the original white cross was asymmetrical and drawn in great detail with the body of Christ.

The white cross is a symbol of the Emperor as protector of Christianity. The red flag, on the other hand, was a sign of his power over life and death. When the Emperor granted the right to carry these two important symbols to Schwyz, he was granting the three cantons special honor, which included privileges like direct immediacy, as recognition for its resistance against the Habsburg aggression of King Rudolf I.

The Confederacy

Other cantons soon joined the Confederacy, with each one carrying their own flag and banners. However, to identify the allied troops in battles, what we know now as the flag of Switzerland was worn in tunics or as armbands by Swiss soldiers, a custom that is carried on to modern times.

Modern Times

Since 1848, the red flag with the white cross has been used as the national flag of Switzerland. This is largely due to the initiative of General Dufour, who rose to prominence when Switzerland was transformed into the present Confederation from what were previously a mere loose federation of different cantons.

A reversed version of the flag of Switzerland is the flag used by the International Red Cross, an organization founded by Genevan Henri Dunant. The adoption of the red cross on a white background is a commemoration of the organization?s founder.

Grow your family through adoption

Adoption of an infant advice may sometimes be hard to come by, however if you call the department of human services they will tell you all you need to know. An adopted baby shower can be just as fun as a regular baby shower, just be mindful of the games you choose to play. Embryo adoption allows the genetic parents to give their embryos a chance for life and provides those who are desperately wanting a kid a chance to be parents. Embryo adoption allows couples who desire pregnancy a unique opportunity to adopt and carry a pregnancy for a full term.

Infant adoption awareness training is required to be completed before the parents seeking an infant may continue in the adoption process. Every woman has the instinct of keeping the child they birthed, but some women know that they would be impossible because they are facing struggles of their own. You need to know that adopting an infant is a extremely big decision and will take a considerable amount of time and effort to be qualified for the task. A brief letter about infant adoption is sent out to those who express interest in adopting an infant.

Working at giving an adopted child the best life possible is quite a noble job to have among all the other things one could be doing. After trying unsuccessfully for years to have a child of their own the new york couple decided to look into adoption infant. Infant adoption is becoming extremely popular; more and more people are wanting a small child who they may teach the way, instead of one they have to re-teach. Every woman has the right to make her own choice, she can choose to abort the baby or give the child live and give him or her up for adoption. Children are willing to be adopted into another household ,as long as it means that they will have some stability.

Embryo adoption allows more control in the adoption infant process and in some ways it provides less, however it does provide an infant for the awaiting couple. An increasing amount of children live in one parent homes, which could make it really difficult for the parent to care for them so they give them up for adoption. An increasing number of adoption infant agencies are offering birth mothers far more say in the adoption process. You will have to strike a new balance in your life as you juggle the new role of parent with all the other activities you already had.

MyOwnArticles.com

Adoption Issues

Adoption is such a broad concept and is one of the most important decisions to make. Although legal, a lot of things are attached to it that each and every adopting parent should consider. Issues and controversies, in fact, surround it, making adoption really a very important move to take.

Speaking of issues, couples and families who are wishing to adopt have a lot of adoption issues to take into consideration as they approach the process. Some of the most common issues are mentioned below, so please read on.

Issue on Infertility

Perhaps one of the most common adoption issues has something to do with infertility. I bet you all know that most of those couples who used to consider adoption are infertile. Well, most of the adoption issues regarding infertility usually address the adopting parents? feeling that they are not the real parents of the child, their worries about the known and unknown genetic or biological influences to the child, as well as the relations with the birthparents of the child they are rearing. All of these worries happen as the child grows old.

Child?s Health and Development Issue

Numerous studies have been conducted to determine the effect of adoption to the health and growth of the child, but most of those studies have revealed that adoption affect greatly the development of the adopted children when they get older. Specific adoption issues such as separation, loss, anger, identity and grief may arise, and some of these adoption issues may appear in all the stages of the child?s development, thus it is very vital for the adopting parents to know and understand how their child behaves and why they behave that way. Parents should then be supportive to their child?s needs and must help their child grow up knowing that she is taken care of and loved. As what most experts have said, the environment that the child belongs greatly affects his or her development.

Risks of Adoption

The risk of adoption is but another adoption issue to consider. As you may all know, adoption is not an easy decision to make. It has a lot of risks and uncertainties that every adopting parent must consider. Perhaps the most important adoption issue happens during the adoption process in which finding the best match between the placing and adopting parents is the main goal. These risks may vary medically, financially, legally and emotionally, but all might be associated with the opportunity of owning a child. With these risks, adopting parents must then be ready to accept whatever consequences may occur. As possible, they should talk to counselors, case workers or attorney when going through the process. This will help them prepare for whatever consequences of the adoption opportunity they may encounter along the way.

Other Issues

There are a lot of other adoption issues associated with the opportunity of owning a child whom you can call as your own. Some of the hottest adopting issues perhaps have something to do with the child?s personality development and growth and sexuality. So it is best for parents or couples thinking of this opportunity to fully understand all the issues associated with adoption before deciding to adopt.

Who’s your daddy?

There are three different models of companies that provide paternity testing; you can do a general search online to find the companies in your very area. The most accurate paternity test prescribed should be administered by the laboratory itself; this will rule out any tampering with the testing results. Adoption reunions are commonly confirmed for the fathers and children with a paternity test to clear the air system. There are several ways for the mother to test the father of the child without him knowing; she just has to be for certain that her method can be tested.

The following data will provide answers to your questions and help alleviate some of your concerns of who is and who isn’t the father of your child. The following information regarding where a paternity test can be administered can be found by doing an online search. This will ensure that the final results have not been tampered with; if the package arrives not completely sealed you may have to be re-swab yourself.

There are many types of evidence that may be utilized to establish paternity; the most precise is a blood sample. The following information on paternity testing on paternity testing will be able to help you perform the test on your very own without any problems. Using a home paternity test to find out for certain who the father of your child is does not require the father in question or the child to give any blood or urine samples. This test is intended to determine the mother of an individual who was adopted at birth and rarely knew her real mother. These two components will keep the two different samples from being mixed up or mixed together during the shipping process. There are a few more pieces of information that you need to obtain before the analysis of the paternity test are to be conducted.

Although most paternity dna testing is a reliable way to determine the father of a child, it is still considered 99.9 percent accurate. When this particular test can be performed in doctor’s lab by professionals, you can also perform it at home and send the results into a science lab. Although dna consulting adheres to the most stringent standards for testing, some states still differ in there methods. As most costs would dictate, dna testing for paternity or other issues will make the cost of the analysis rise. This type of test is especially useful in inheritance issues; when wealthy people become deceased children who were never associated with the family suddenly pop up. While most dna testing for paternity is around two hundred dollars, this price might go for much higher depending on the purpose of the testing.

Most families do not want to hear that their teenage daughter is pregnant. However, teenagers of different cultures can face more severe expectations. When a teenage single mother’s family is an ethnic minority or of a particular faith that has cultural beliefs that value virginity or has specific maternal expectations, her choices may become limited and her life planned for her from the moment she announces she is pregnant. In worst-case scenarios, her family may not support her and turn her out as a disgrace, or seek to harm her before the child is born.

The Issue Of Virginity

Some cultures won’t talk about sex in the home. Sex education, especially for females, is not encouraged. However, the cultural standard of virginity may be upheld. These leaves many females in these cultures that value virginity not enough information on protection of birth control should they become sexually active.

In addition, once a teenager becomes pregnant, the teenage single mother’s family may insist the adolescent marry early or live at home to raise the child. Adoption and abortion may not be considered options in different cultures or faiths. Either way, the teenage mother’s education is curtailed and her chances at becoming a stable, independent provider for her children are stalled.

Other cultures may find the teenage mother’s condition so offensive to their family honor that they may try to harm the expectant mother or abandon her. It’s important to have counseling for the teenage single mother’s family as well as the adolescent mother to take into account cultural and religious belief systems if this is the case.

The Issue Of Marriage

In some cultures, a teenage must marry to protect the family honor. It doesn’t matter what her age is, if she’s pregnant, she has to marry. In the U.S., minors aren’t allowed to marry without the consent of their parents. Marriage is seen differently in other cultures, and arranged marriages for a teenage girl to a much older men are arranged to avoid having a teenage single mother, a cause of much disgrace in other cultures.

However, once she is pregnant a teenage single mother’s family will pressure her into marrying if their culture demands it. The lack of support for unwed mothers in other cultures causes emotional trauma and can lead to a suicide of a young single mother.

Counselors and schools that deal with other cultures are often not aware of the difference in how different cultures influences the expectations of a teenage single mother’s family. As more and more immigrants come to America to seek a better life, the issue of teenage single mothers and the different cultural norms and expectations can make getting help for teen mothers a more sensitive issue requiring more in-depth cultural understanding and counseling.
